simply sweet life.: Ryan's First Easter

This blog was initially used to keep in touch with family while we were serving as missionaries in Kenya. Although we are no longer in Africa and are home in the States, this blog's purpose of keeping in touch with family still remains! But it has also taken a twist of sorts as I now post recipes, craft ideas, and photography... as well as the updates on our little family. I love "crunchy" topics and try to do life simply and naturally!

So, here we are!!

I'm Laura, and he's Jake... but you'll likely never hear directly from him ;) We love Jesus and we love each other; knowing what "true love" is, the latter can't come without the former! We are partners in this adventure called "parenting" as we raise our little warriors, Ryan, Lukas, and Shane, up in the Lord.With our willing hearts and empty hands lifted high in surrender, we pray that God will continually move in us and take us places we never thought possible. Journey with us as we put in writing the things God is doing in us for His glory.
